Araluen Cottage is a charming original cottage, perfectly positioned directly across the road from Hardys Bay waterfront.


Full of character and old-fashioned charm, this property gives the feeling of a traditional family holiday house, with personal touches, original timber floorboards and a warm, homely atmosphere.

The cottage features open-plan living and a large balcony with stunning views across Hardys Bay - the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a morning coffee or unwind with family and friends.


Outside, there's a large, grassed area and enclosed balcony, making it ideal for families, children and four-legged friends. The property also offers dual access with ample off-street parking.

With the waterfront just across the road, the Killcare shops and cafés within walking distance, and the Hardys Bay Club at the end of the street, it has everything you need for a relaxed coastal getaway.


Please note: The property is not fenced, so children and pets will need to be supervised outdoors.

Cancellation Policy

If a booking is cancelled within one (1) month prior to arrival, 100% cancellation fee is incurred with no refunds. However, if we are able to rebook the property a refund maybe offered. Cancellation outside one (1) month prior to arrival a $120 cancellation fee will be charged, and all remaining deposit will be refunded.

House Rules

Strictly NO parties, functions, excessive noise, or additional visitors allowed, and no pets (unless authorised) or smoking permitted. We ask you to be considerate short-term neighbours and adhere our quiet time between 10pm and 7am. Your rights and our expectations are outlined in “Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry NSW”. Please review our full T&Cs prior to booking.

Security Deposit

Disclaimer: Please note that a security bond of $750 is required prior to the release of keys for all bookings. Access to the property will not be granted until this requirement is met.
